3 Kids in one room!

3 Kids in one room!  My friend had twin boys and then 10 months later had a baby girl.  They all had to be in the same room so it was hard finding something that would go good together.
We made all the bedding except the bumpers.  The bumpers and bed skirts were all the same.  Each child got a color.  Max got green so we did his sheet in that color.

Audrey got turquoise so we did her sheet in that color.

And Owen got Orange.  The throw blankets were reversible.  She had her baby girl early so we came over and sewed our hearts out while her twin boys were staying with family.

Girl's Yellow Room

I traveled to Arizona to see a friend and we decided to redecorate her daughters room while I was there.  We didn't have much time so I only got to paint the room yellow and work on this fun art project.  We took different sizes of canvas from JoAnn's fabric.  It's the cheapest because you can get them 40% off.  We found the decals at Target that matched her bedspread.  It was fun finding the bright colors to paint the canvas.  Then we glued all the pieces on.  It was a fun project!  I wish I could have stayed longer to finish it.

I probably would have done a bird cage theme.  I love them so my kids can trap toys in them.   Oh the fun owl things you can find now.  You can even get owl money banks.

We got cheap Wal-Mart curtains and put ribbon around them.

Baby Boys Green Room

This is my friends little guys room who isn't so little anymore.  She already had the green walls so we decided to work with them.  We got the gray curtains from Ikea and then added material at the bottom from JoAnn's fabric.

The wall board is for her to add pictures of her little guy.  It was a half wood door we got for $5.  We painted it and added scrapbook paper.

The picture was from Ikea.  So were the round place mats.

We made all the bedding.  All of the material was from JoAnn's fabric.

Aimee's Office

This is my sisters office.  It had 70's style wall paper before we painted it. She is a marriage and family therapist. www.LifesSolutionsCounseling.com I helped her find the wall hanging.  We got it at Down East.  I had to hang out the back of her car holding it so it wouldn't fall out while we drove to Ikea to get the shelves.  I would do anything for a great deal! The shelves turned a small space into a very functional office.

Piano Room

The woman we did this room for teaches piano so we wanted it to look nice for people to come and have lessons.
This room was plain with not much in it.  We painted the accent wall blue.  I like the look of  it against the piano color.

The mirror was from Roberts Arts and Crafts

The lantern and pots were from TJMaxx

The two scroll's on the side of the curtains were from a little decorating store in Tooele.  The curtains were from JCPenney. They are blue like the wall with big embroidered flowers on them.

The clock was from Hobby Lobby

The end tables and baskets were from Ikea.  The pot from TJMaxx and the lamp from Target.

The picture is from ShopKo

The rod iron balls were from Rod Works.

We made the pillows with material from JoAnn's fabric.  The bed spread is from Target.  It was a queen and I cut it up to make a pillow sham.

A trunk to put her toys in from TJMaxx.  The mirror was from Hobby Lobby.

Laundry Room

Laundry room before

We painted the walls a butter cream yellow.  Brad built the cabinets and we painted them a dark brown called Oil Lamp from Wal-Mart's color place.  The laundry sign was from Hobby Lobby.

We made the curtains from sheets at Down East.  They are a  pin stripe print.  We got the old door off KSL for $5 and put hooks on it for bags and coats.

Baby Girl's Room

The before picture.  She had 3 boys and was having her first girl!

After
More of the canvas from Tai Pan we covered with material.
I painted the end table, dresser, and chair white.  I recovered the chair.
I got these flowers at Hobby Lobby.  I put a wall paper on the wall with boards in between.  I love having a texture on the wall.

The light we got from Lowe's
The frames were from Hobby Lobby
The clock was also from Hobby Lobby.

I made a tutu bed skirt.  All the bedding I made with material from Hobby Lobby.
I found the material I liked a long time ago.  I had gotten samples for it and showed her.  She loved it and when I went to pick it up they were out of it.  Turns out they weren't getting any more.  She got some from a different state and I had my sister get some for me in Colorado.  We had just enough!

Baby Boy's Room

Getting started.  It was a plain room with tan walls and nothing in it.

We decided we didn't like the peach color so we ended up painting them brown.  The best part about putting boards up is you don't have to paint perfect lines!

Filling the lines and holes.  Almost done!

The chevron frames we painted over these hideous pictures.  They were from Tai Pan Trading for $2 a piece.  We took all of them they had.  No wonder they were so cheap!  They were so ugly!!
The curtains were from Hancock fabrics.  The frames were from Roberts Arts and Crafts which is now out of business but they have smaller ones kind of like these at Ikea.

The dresser we got for $50 on KSL and painted it.

The crib used to be a natural color.  We painted it to match the material and wall.  We made the bumper our of solid fleece material.

 Finished!
